Is a brief and cozy narrative game that lets you explore a character through thoughts and momentos you find in stages of their life. Its an introspective game, meant to share some experiences a peer-group of neurodivergent queers, including the developer, had growing up. Experience through the eyes of a character as they return to their childhood home, after moving out. What mementos will they find? What thoughts will they go through? Can they be happy? Maybe not. You decide which thoughts to keep or discard. Help them find a better Frame of Mind.
We want to empower ourselves as marginalised people to tell our own stories in an environment that is actually built for our needs.
We want to create characters that do justice to our lived experiences.
With the help of a strong code of conduct, flexible or shortened working hours, and optional home-office arrangements, we ensure that marginalised people are not only welcome but also able to work here.
There is no such thing as apolitical art for us.
We recognise the responsibility that comes with creating art and want to make meaningful games that entertain and educate.
We want to contribute to a free culture and a collaborative society. Part of this means using free and open-source tools whenever possible and contributing the tools we develop back to the FOSS community.
Where possible, we use Creative Commons licenses that allow the public to use and adapt our work for non-commercial purposes.

Womenize! – Inspiring Stories is a weekly series featuring inspirational individuals from games and tech. For this edition, we talked to Dieu Linh Vu, CEO & Co-Founder of Polynormal Games. She speaks how navigating uncertainty, prioritizing people-centered leadership, and embracing inclusivity led her to found a game studio focused on building a supportive and intentional work culture.
The young video game studio was founded in 2025 and focuses on diversity and inclusion. At Polynormal Games, individuals with experiences of marginalization and disabilities work to create media that authentically conveys diversity.
On December 10, 2025, the Leipzig Start-up Prize 2025 – awarded by the city’s economic development agency – was presented to the two games start-ups Polynormal Games and Feynarock.
